30-Day Minimalism Game – Day 6

This month, each of you must get rid of one thing on the first day. On the second, two things. Three items on the third. So forth, and so on. Anything can go! Clothes, furniture, electronics, tools, decorations, etc. Donate, sell, or trash. Whatever you do, each material possession must be out of your house—and out of your life—by midnight each day.

      1. No actually, I don’t have that many things to give away. In fact, I feel I am running short of things that I need in daily life… But that was not the case before, it is just from few months…

  1. Of course you can ask 🙂 I shifted to rent house. Before i lived with my parents. And I am not going to stay here that long. So our house owner has already given us somethings which are enough for 2 people but sometimes when all things are used up for example like utensils, there is no option but to clean them first and then use. Or sometimes i need a small bowl to heat something or keep the left over food for next day and I have nothing but a large cooking bowl. I am not yet sure if I should go on buying stuffs i need bcoz i know i am not going to stay here for long and it will be again an extra thing while shifting.

    1. Ah, yes, I understand what you mean. You easily put up with it because it’s a temporary situation! How long will you stay there? Will you then move back home again or to another place? It depends on what you’re investing, it might be worth it if you will need it afterwards anyway and can take it with you. Or store until you move out again.

      1. Ya that’s what. It’s a tough choice to make. Sometimes i think i am tempted to buy things and sometimes i feel i am being stingy unnecessarily :p but i will remember this challenge if at all i will need it in future 😀
