Weekly Photo Challenge: Orange

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Orange you glad it’s photo challenge time?.”

My first thought on “orange” of course was: monks! Thailand, Nepal, Cambodia, and all those other places where you see beautifully wrapped monks in different orange colours. But I’m not going to show you those pictures. I figured there would be enough of those as a response to this weeks’ photo challenge, so that made me swim against the flow 😉 The challenger wants three pictures? Sure, you may have them 🙂 Here they are:

1.) I photographed these beautiful leaves during a beautiful autumn walk a few years back. I love sunny autumn afternoons 🙂

2.) You’re gonna get a foreign picture after all 😉 Orange is, besides black, the colour of Halloween. I found this funny and rather cute pumpkin on Halloween at a grocery shop in Peru 🙂

3.) Some of the curtains in my last apartment were bright orange, so when the sun was shining into that room on a particular time of day, they would light up like fire. I photographed this beautiful porcelain maiden in front of them one afternoon.

Hope you liked them 🙂 May you have a bright orange week 😉
